Saskatchewan’s Regina Autism Resource Centre (ARC) has shifted its focus to helping people with autism after they have graduated high school. ARC still provides programming for kids and families, but they realized a need for job training for adults on the spectrum. The vocational program uses the Practical Assessment Exploration System (PAES) to help determine, from a variety of jobs, where a person’s skills might fit best. PAES also works with individuals on social skills they will need in a work environment.
